The CoPilot Gemini printing system is Squid Ink’s most capable large-format inkjet coding solution — built for operations ready to eliminate pre-printed label inventory and print directly on cases and cartons. With an industry-leading 5.6″ of print height, 360 dpi resolution, and print speeds up to 220 ft/min, the Gemini is engineered to keep pace with the most demanding production environments on porous or non-porous surfaces. For fast dry-time requirements, the Gemini also supports UV LED curable inks.
The active ink system allows the printhead to tilt or rotate in any direction without adjusting the ink supply height — making line integration fast and flexible. A large 500ml snap-in cartridge keeps your line running longer between changes, and the 4.3″ full-color touchscreen with Orion™ PC Software makes message creation and management simple on the floor or networked across your entire facility. Inkjet consumable costs are typically 1/10 the cost of thermal transfer labels — the Gemini pays for itself.
